On May 30, we celebrated the kickoff for the first two action networks – Early Literacy and College and Career Readiness. With more than 100 individuals and organizations having responded to our invitation to partner, we couldn’t be more thrilled to see our partners gathered and ready to begin this important work.
These action networks are a cornerstone of the collective impact model that brings together practitioners across sectors to break down silos work toward shared goals for all of our students.
While additional action networks will launch in 2014, this summer, current action network members will work to establish their charters and action plans focused on moving key contributing indicators related to closing gaps in early literacy and college and career readiness. We are providing professional facilitation services through Impact Strategies Group and MAP for Nonprofits and coaching on how to use data to continuously improve to support action network members in a cycle of inquiry.
