Social Innovation Fund Grantees
SIF seeks to identify high-performing, innovative nonprofit practices that are able to demonstrate expertise, impact, and ability to scale against one or more of our five community-wide goals. Throughout February, our SIF review team was busy visiting sites and meeting the people behind some of the Twin Cities most promising practices. We know and appreciate how much effort goes into crafting a proposal for Federal funding and it has been a sincere pleasure to learn more details about the eighteen organizations who applied for this first round of funding. The review team was impressed by the number of highly qualified partners who applied and, as a result, it was incredibly difficult to narrow down to our group of final grantees. We’ve also been grateful to receive honest feedback about the pros and cons of the application process, and, true to our framework, we’re working to continuously improve our practice.
